Anyone seen Cheers?

I only saw that show a few times, it wasn't my cup my tea. But the actor (forgot his name, he played Becker in Becker) is what caught my eye. He seems so different from the character he plays in Becker! I mean on one hand there's this grouchy doctor who hates everyone, then in Cheers you see this horny guy who enjoys life so much!

Cheers has officially ended its run... too bad... It's nice to see how a pub with regulars get by their daily lives... the owner of the pub is cute too...

I remember Cheers but haven't seen it in a while. It was great though.

On a related topic, I also thought Becker was great, but it's almost impossible to find here in the UK. The only place it's shown is about midnight on the Paramount channel every now and then. Which is a shame

Cheers is pretty good in my opinion, though Frasier was better. Both of which are superior to the show that replaced it's #1 sitcom spot on TV, namely Friends

I agree. Friends, although midly entertaining, is fairly basic comedy. I far prefer Coupling (The original obviously, not the dodgy remake).
I wish the US would produce more fairly intelliegent comedies such as Frasier. Arrersted Development was good, as was Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I can't see either becomeing "classics"
