Clerks: The Cartoon

Has anyone else seen this series? I imported it over Easter, and it's not a bad series, nothing exceptional by any means, but better than some of the stuff that got more than 6 episodes commissioned, and 2 shown on ABC...

I'd never even heard of it until I saw your sig. What's it about? Is it worth a look?

Well, the quote's from the film that the cartoon's based upon, the film is an indie classic by Kevin Smith, that I believe was the most profitable film ever until Blair Witch came out ('twas shot on a $27k budget)

The cartoon appeared in 2000, around the same time as Family Guy was blowing up and animation was all over the airwaves in such forms as Dilbert and others that were equally inferior to this cartoon.

It's never been seen in Europe on TV, but on the back of the rest of Smith's work I decided to give it a try, and for £8.49 I can't complain at the quality. It's almost too aware of itself, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Any show that makes it's second episode a flashback episode is worth a watch, if only for the balls shown in doing it...
