Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, Friends, The OC, and sometimes Sex and The City.

Shame Friends is over though.

S'gotta be Peep Show. The way it's made is brilliant. Because you witness their life through their eyes it makes it so entertaining and easy to relate with, even if some of the things going on are ludicrous!

Simpsons is an all time favorite for me. I am in the US and I wish i also had some of the british channels (whichever they are) that play 'trigger happy tv' and 'the office'. the life would be completely complete (well almost)

Now, being somewhat British, some of the American shows just bore me to death.

The OC is one of them. It falls under what I like to call, the teenage girl crap.

Dawson's Creek set the trend for this pile of crap.

If you watch it and love it, then fine by me, im sure if I had the time, I would get into it. But something just makes me want to knock these eejits heads off. They live in huge mansions, have perfect skin, hair, teeth, eyes, body etc etc. They have beautiful girls that they occasionally try and fuck and probably get picked up in Dad's ferrari after school, or probably drive their own token 4x4. Yet what pisses me off the most, is the fact that these Perfect little people, still aint fucking happy and cant just accept that they are probably on the highest branch of sociality and are just shitting on everyone from the top.

Do I care about a rich family who have family problems with the California/Florida sun beaming down on them for 20 hours of the day? Not fucking likely.

The only American family on TV that I and everyone on this planet can relate to or particularly care about, are The Simpsons. And yes, The bloody Osbournes are included in that, and yes I know he is british, but Kelly and Jack just underline the term 'spoilt little fucking brats who get it easy'.

I agree with every single word of that! The OC is a terrible programme in particular.

I didnt mean to offend anyone, I just find it as dull and as pointless as every other teenage american 'real-life' series with a token pretty boy whinging about what he percieves as life.

Does he have a job? No he probably just sponges off his rich parents. Theres more to life than being popular at bloody school. I was rather popular when I was at school, but as if any of that shit matters in the real world.

It teaches viewers the wrong message.

Be popular, sponge off yer parents and you always get the fittest girl around.

Bollocks.

I can relate it to my life as much as watching those screwed up Jerry Springer episodes were the guy finds out his wife of 14 years used to be called John. What the fuck?

Family Guy, West Wing and Law and Order (the orignal) are all shows that I'll watch if they're on. The new Law and ORder is a bit Shite but still good. West Wing is fantastic.

Why not give us your favourite Japanese TV show and obviously explain the concept, would help freshen up the board with some foriegn TV (not incl. American TV)
