Oh wait even before that I had a commodore 64 i use to play Superman on... what were your first souvenirs when it comes to gaming? | ||

| Movie Critic | The first game I ever played was "Pool" on the ZX Spectrum... Good times... As for consoles, I think it was Marble Madness on the NES, which again is some good nostalgia...

| I think the first game I played must of been that Atari tennis or something, you know that white dot with 2 sticks, one on each side of the screen, and I don't know how I use to do but i' play it for hours! Another game I played was on my computer when i was 8 or something it was a sort of king kong arcade game you just played using the space bar. the screenis full of buildings and a plane crosses the screen and gets lower every go and you launch missiles from the plane with the space bar when passing on top of the buildings to destroy them before the plane gets to low and crashes into one of them.you'd get a bonus if King Kong appeared to be climbing one of the buildings while you shot it down! | ||

As for the other one, it sounds a bit extreme, bombing a cityscape, but whatever floats your boat... or keeps your plane flying...

| Movie Goer | aaah yes pong. A vague memory of me thinking sarcastically "Great. So what exactly is the point" surfaces from somewhere. I was a surprisingly cynical child ![]() Other than that, my first real memories of gaming are obscured due to the fog of time (or possibly illegal substances) but i do remember getting the high score on the old galaxians machine at my local (now defunct) arcade. As for console gaming, i came to this particular avenue of entertainment fairly late, my first experience being sensible soccer of the mega drive. Or saturn. Or something. A multiplayer game where neither of us knew the controls, so it was a case of button-bashing until we found the "shoot" button.
