Can you believe the Simpsons first appeared in 1987 (on the Tracey Ulman, I think I spelled the last name wrong, show), and it's still going to this very day. The first episode was in 1989, and it's the longest running cartoon series. I didn't like the beginning episodes, the animation was just too bad, but by the sixth I really liked it. I hope it goes on for another 10 years!

hahahaha; the simpsons are the cartoon version of Married wit children if you want my opinion. Great show , never get enough of it, and yes it doesn't seem like i've been watching it since i was but a kid!!

I can't name another cartoon that has that long of a running time... I don't think I could name a sitcom or TV series that ever run for more than 10 years either.

I do believe and know that info, but what really is sad is that this is their last season. After they finish the newest season, they are going to make a movie for Simpsons and ----. They won’t make any more episodes :’(.
