A show that for any movie buff/18-30 year old should be required watching for it's directorial prowess, watertight writing, comedic performances and movie references coming out of it's ears... The only show I've seen that manages to place Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Crouching Tiger and Scarface references in a single half-hour show... Anyone who enjoyed Shaun Of The Dead will be right at home with it, though it contains a significantly lower number of zombies (but isn't completely without...)

| Movie Critic | It was a series, which ran first in 1999, then the second series in 2001. Rumours of a third series were fuelled by the documentary recorded for the 3 disc collectors edition (only £18 on Amazon.co.uk). Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright who wrote SOTD were writer and director respectively, with Jessica Stevenson (currently acting in "According to Bex" on BBC1 Friday 9:00 and apparently in the new Bridget Jones, which I haven't seen) working with Pegg on it. They play the two central characters, Tim and Daisy, with a supporting cast of Nick Frost, Mark Heap, Julia Deakin and Katy Carmichael to create a view of life, as seen from a group of twenty-somethings
