Star Trek

I use to love the original star trek with the famous Mr spok and regretted scottie.
And was sceptic when it came to all these new ones, i tried watching Enterprise but I dunno It realy didn't hold back my attention, but when I then checked out Voyager I found it great, I find it realy complete and even if it's modern it's done in a great way,you get attached to the characters and I have pleasure following all the little stories aboard the enterprise.
I was scared that a woman in charge of it all would be maybe a bit hard to accept after being use to good old capitain kirk, but no she does a great job!
Thumbs up for Voyager for me!
What about you, which off all the new star treks do you prefer?

Out of the new ones, I'd have to go with Next Generation, mainly because it's the only one I've ever sat down and watched...

I think they played a few episodes here ,but it disapeared rather fast, it's the one with Commander Picard right?
How many of those Star treks are still going in the states?or have they all ended already?
That's the problem over here in Europe!By the time you get to the 2nd or 3 rd season most shows are already over with and forgotten in the US

Yeah, it's the one with Picard, and to answer your other question, I live in England, so... Erm... I dunno...

woops!
Well at least that way we will probably be crossing often (having just about the same time patten), in the past I have often found myself getting up when others are going to sleep or going to sleep when others were waking up!
So this should be a very positive experience all together.

Next Generation disappearing? They had quite a few movies made for the Star Ship Enterpise NCC 1701-D and then the later NCC 1701-E where they time travelled to where the first A class captian was held in a void and then they battled the Blogs in space.

It was one of the best in my view after the original series and one that stay the most in the genre.

Yes. I am a Trekkie

The old Start trek may seem dated to any person that wasn't born in the 1950s, but to anyone that watched it since the inception, they know it was ahead of its time. Gene Roddenberry's vision lives on today . Long before Star Wars this series caught the attention of SciFi fans that had only black & white Twilight Zone and Outer Limits before. This wonderfully colorful series did very well with the very limited budget they had. Look at all the things influenced by this series. There were no flip open phones, small data discs for computers, or dozens of other items influenced by this series at the time it originally aired. Many first such as the interracial kiss were seen here. It truly asked questions that are still asked today. I have to tell you I liked the music more than in the last couple of Star Trek series.

I for one like the Original as well.
However the Enterprise series as I feel that that series retained most of the original than any others.

Never really got used to the current ones.

I'd might be tempted into getting the original Star Trek collection one of these days, it's just cult, Cap'tain kirk , Leonard nemoy's incredible Mister Spock and the gang...pure pleasure...
