Me, for one. I can't afford a real TV, and the low-cost TVs are crappier than my 17 inch monitor (no, not penis, I wish!). So I just got myself a TV card, linked it to the cables, and now I get high-quality television on my computer. It makes life so convenient. I can listen to the hicks scream on Jerry Springer while typing up my essay. I wish everything could be done on the computer! | ||

| I hate sitting in front of the computer the whole day watching TV on the stupid monitor... nothing beats switching on my Sony Wega and popping my ass on the sofa with a beer in my hand... | ||

| As I don't have much money I bought a tv-card a few months ago. It's a pinnacle card, about €100 and works quite well. The only thing is that sometimes the sound is faster than the image but that's just rarely. It's also good because you can record your favorite movies straight to your HD. You can do other stuff while listening/watching tv. Ofcourse an original TV is always better, but if you're short on money a tv-card is a nice thing to buy ![]()

| Uncredited | I should be getting a Pinnacle TV Card soon, but not for quite that much money. It will be good, but I'm mainly using it for capturing videos.

| Movie Critic | Contrary to what you may hear in some circumstances, with aerials size matters... Dunno where you'd go about actually buying them, but I know that in some parts of Ireland, due to the rural nature of a lot of the farms you pass they have 15ft aerials on the top of them just to get a decent signal...

| I've seen an ad where the antenna cable is plugged into your home power socket... That makes your entire home and neighbours as well like a giant antenna... Forgot where the ad was from.. tried to search google but couldn't find it... will keep a lookout for you guys... | ||

| I got a couple of cables with my PC. stick them in the back and the other ends goes through another cable and into the front of the tv. i don't know the technical names of them but it is much nicer to watch movies etc on a large TV instead of on a monitor ![]() | ||
