I hope it gets there

I mailed off a season of the sopranos as my first trade on SD and i'm a little concerned about it getting to the other user. I've had mixed luck with the USPS lately. I mailed the discs in a nice padded mailer and printed out the addresses and taped them on with good tape. Last time i taped on an address label the usps machiens ripped it off. I have no idea what happened to the package. I'm hoping and praying that it gets there safe. Its been about 5 days since i mailed it and it hasn't been confirmed yet. Granted its going accross the country too. If it dosen't make it i guess i'll have to get insurance for now on.

Losing things to the usps can get expensive...

USPS is notorious for losing mail and packages. If the package has any worth at all its better it insure it. Only downside is standing in post office lines.

A serious downside to SD vs PF is that the sender is responsible for the package until acknowledged by the recipiant.. My experiences on EBAY lead me to have a certain doubt about the honesty of the general public. In addition one must wait for that acknowledgement before using those credits, a delay of a week or more.

As I am just trying them out we'll see if these issues become real problems.

No worries as we offer a 100% Guarantee for all switches.

If a switch is not confirmed as received we give it 14 days after it has been confirmed as mailed before we start the claims process (that’s the USPS maximum # of days for something to arrive regular mail). We then give both switchers a chance to let us know the status on their end and then update the switch accordingly and transfer/refund the appropriate amount of switchbucs. We track all these cases on each members profile to make sure members don't abuse the system...can't give up much more of our security secrets but you can be assured network security and fraud prevention is of utmost importance to us.

I hope this switch goes well for you Joliet but if it doesn't we will be there to help you out.

cheers,
Chris

That makes me feel better. I would say the usps should gaurantee everything shipped but that would probably cost them billions in refunds....

Just out of curiosity does anyone know the average time it take something to go from coast to coast? I'm in TN and i sent my discs to CA. I sent them off on the 8th of this month and they haven't been confirmed yet. Maybe i'm just worrying to much. I just hope the labels didn't get torn off like last time i mailed something. That would mean the USPS has a copy of the sopranos.

Good to hear your first switch went well. Now you can request something from me...I could use some switchbucs.
