Hi Chris,

Hmmmm, interesting option. Now let's see.

Here's an example, that I will use with the movie Must Love Dogs.
On Switchdiscs.com, its suggested value is 29

Now if i'm mailing disc+artwork (with or without the case), I don't mind charging or being charged (if *I* request the film) that much bucs.

However, if all that is included is the disc itself (no artwork, no case), why should the value be set at 29 ?

This is where, IMO, setting your own value comes in. It seems to me that if you're sending a disc only, the value should be much lower.

Or will that be automatically decided with the new version?
Ie: if sending artwork+disc+case, the value for Must Love Dogs is 29.
if sending artwork+disc = value is 25
if sending only disc = value is 20
(These SD values are examples only.)

Do you actually mean that the user will not be setting his own value, but he will have to accept the site's value, depending on what he chooses to mail ?

I look forward to your clarification on this matter.

Actually, I liked the free market set your own price approach. I just think some semi-standard conventions need to evolve for disc, disc+art, disc+art+case, etc.

I'm looking forward to the v2.0 release. Especially the more automated switching process that was discussed on the SD Forum.

Are you guys still on track for the June 1st release Chris? Maybe earlly?

JJ, I use FireFox, too. I get PostData messages on most of my regular sites when going backward, too.

The v2.0 site may fix this problem...don't quote me on that as I have not tested it yet but we will do our best. Sometimes it's something that can be fixed on the users end with the browser they are using.
