According to reports, Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston will soon be acting ( as

Waheeda Rehman role)in a remake of Asit Sen’s 1969 psychodrama Khamoshi.

Titled Silence, the Jennifer Aniston starrer will have Aniston reprising Waheeda

Rehman’s role while two A-List Hollywood actors will play the roles Rajesh Khanna

and Dharmendra immortalised.

Khamoshi revolves around a nurse (Waheeda Rehman) in a mental asylum who falls in

love with her patients and finally loses her mind when her love isn’t

reciprocated.

LA-based restaurateur Sanjay Patel will produce Silence. Says Patel excitedly,

Jennifer is a regular at my restaurant Bollywood Bites and I have spoken to her

about doing Waheeda Rehman’s role in Khamoshi. Now she wants me to give her the

full script which we’re working on.
